Re: New Feature Requests
I run Twonky on my 2 tb MBWE. I'd like to see a linux command line update feature. Downloading and doing the install is fine and good... but if I could just run a program to check, download, and install the latest version it would be great. Oh, and if this happens, a version roll back command might ...

Alright. I successfully set up twonky a while back. Now I have a working serial for 5.x, but I'm still a newbie to linux... Do I need to uninstall the old version somehow? just delete it? is there a more convienient upgrade command like with ipkg? any help would be great.

Re: Media Client for XP
I'm running vista, but twonky shows up in WMP with no adjustments from me. On the Library page left hand navigation bar it has a playlist tree, library tree, and then 'PVConnect on TwonkyMedia'. It works great for streaming music, but trying to use it for video's is a pain. Music you can sort by art...

2TB MyBook World Edition & Windows Media Player
Everything is working with twonky and my xbox which is the main reason I bought it. But I opened up Windows Media Player (WMP) and notice that is has added twonky as a "PVConnect on TwonkyMedia [mybookworld]". My music files show up fine because I can sort them by artist, but for my video files I ca...

2TB Mybook World Edition & Windows Media Center
Number one, I just bought the full version after the trial streamed to my xbox360 flawlessly. Thank you for your brilliant work. Now, I currently have access to the mybook via a network share, and Media Center is displaying those files through the network share. Is there anyway for media center to s...

I had some trouble with my mybookworld, have you followed all the steps from this site? http://mybookworld.wikidot.com/forum/t-72617/installing-twonky You have to make sure that the server is still running as a deamon after you logout of your session, and then if you want the server always running a...
