per mgillespie Well that's pretty unfair. The MSS issue, is due to the small amount of RAM inside those units. Yes indeedy that addresses 1 of the 5 items I'd referenced...should I continue my list? I'll spare you as prior postings have done that and my comments have been supported by many other use...

The fix is tedious. re-rip your collection using WMP11. Re-ripping 10,000+ tracks is not tedious...its getting hosed on a software purchase. These days Twonky can't display properly on a Soundbridge, it can't handle deep sorts on a Maxtor Shared Storage, it can't consistantly display my playlists, ...

test approach
Too many holes at this point to say. If you're up for the adventure (obviously you are considering the amount of time you've blown is probably close to the amount of time I've blown) I'd suggest a little reality check. It sounds like your current config is easy to restore so I'm suggesting a little ...

Twonky Poo Award
There are numerous folks reporting this issue and Twonky does nothing...no responses, no comments, no proposed fixes. Twonky Poo Award goes to the users on this one 'cuz the developers don't care.

Rebuid database option
Rebuild Database is a menu option off TwonkyMedia Configuration-> Support-> Troubleshooting (left sidebar navigation). My experience with MMS+ and Twonky's newest version is that Twonky can easily handle my 11,000 tracks however the Navigation structure needs to be incredibly lame (ie about as basic...

Beta? This isn't Semantic 1997 is it?
Beta? I'm not sure, the naming convention doesn't really make that clear and neither does the download point. Given that it is indeed beta I'm still not understanding your point as a silent user population essentially begs for the product they get; developers are pretty darn smart these days but the...

My experiences = pathetic response and behaviors with ver4.x
Misery loves company. As long as I've started a list I guess I should add that the Internet Radio settings in my Twonky installs have never worked for me. Ever. In the current 4.4 install I do indeed get (for the 1st time) a display regarding Internet Radio categories that I've elected...however the...

My experiences = pathetic response and behaviors with ver4.x
Around a month ago I'd updated from Twonky ver3.01 to ver4.3 and to todays ver4.4. Ugly results...bottom line. My previous Twonky ver3.01 was running on a Maxtor MSSPlus (300Gig) with MSS 1.2.2 OpenMSS2. A new drive at loadup, install was clean. My current Twonky ver4.4 is running on a Maxtor MMSPlu...
