Re: TwonkyMedia on Synology DS408
I made a suggestion in this thread... http://www.twonkyforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5768 ... asking for someone to try the CS406 build on another model with the same chipset as your 408. There was no reply. You can find the unsupported 4.4.14 series here... http://www.twonkyforum.com/unsupported/4....

Re: 4.4.x and Popcorn Hour A100 navigation
@spe: Not sure, if I understand you... You switched (and try) other navigation-trees with installation on your PC. - Could you solve the problems with setting to " Simple default navigation "!? - Did you try " Folder " navigation!? (Instead of " Artist/Album ")? I prefer this... - Detects Twonky th...

Re: 4.4.x and Popcorn Hour A100 navigation
I've loaded 4.4.11 on a PC now and have had the same results. It seems to be the advanced menus setting that causes the trouble. Altering the recognised type of the client doesn't make any difference. Having said that I have only tried 6 so far, Genric and DLNA variants mostly. There are plenty more...

Wrong: It supports .mkv files in 4.4.6 upwards. Don't know about v5 though.DJans wrote:Correct.Dolly wrote:What? TwonkyVision doesn't support mkv ?

Re: Custon Navigation Tree in TMS 5.x
Me too!asheiner wrote:I'd really like to see the possibility to create my own navigation tree in Twonky Media Server 5.x
It's a great feature and really keeps me away from upgrading my 4.4.11

Re: 4.4.x and Popcorn Hour A100 navigation
Thanks for the reply Mikle. The message is the same in any of the navigation options that have several layers to the tree. Some of the navigation options only have one layer for most elements. I chose the given example as its the easiest to configure and navigate without any changes on most clients....

4.4.x and Popcorn Hour A100 navigation
I hope this is the right forum for this question. So apologies in advance if it isn't. Does anyone know a workaround for a navigation failure when coming back up several levels of navigation tree after playing MP3 or MKV on the Popcorn Hour A-100? Here's an example. Switch the Twonky config to show ...

i've been using twonky 4.3 on my maxtor mss+ for a while now. i bought the license and also bought the additional " life time " license. does this mean that upgrading to TMS 5 is free? or do i have to purchase another license? not interested in the media manager...just the server version. also, wil...

Re: Manual tree view changes are lost on server re-start
Found an answer to my own problem, but since its not intuitive I thought I'd post it anyway.... First select the standard view closest to the one that you'd like to end up with... I chose Advanced Default Navigation Then save the config and re-start the server. Now change the view to "Custom". Nothi...

Re: How to buy a license for 4.4.x
According to Twonky the 4.4.11 build is the only one to accept all types of license keys.
So you should have nothing to worry about if you install 4.4.11

Re: Twonkymedia 4.4.9 on DS107
This is coming up so much it really needs a sticky tag: Here's the processor compatibility list for most of the Synology NAS units. The following models use the Marvell mv5281 ARM Processor: DS107+ (64 or 128MB of RAM) DS207+ CS407 RS407 The following models use the PowerPC Freescale 8241 (PPC) CPU:...

Manual tree view changes are lost on server re-start
I've tried changing individual elements of my tree view for Music on both 4.4.9 and 4.4.11 and the following happens: When you save the config the file "twonkyvision-mediaserver" in the Twonky directory gets updated correctly, and a message about not taking effect until after a re-boot is displayed....

Re: Twonky on Synology DS-209+
Unfortunately there are no either DS407 (?!) or DS409 (?!) binary versions at all. A new installer for Freescale MPC8543 (ppce500v2) would be nice for all DS209+ DS408 and DS508 owners! Sorry, yes. I meant CS-407 not DS-407. I haven't checked the chipsets in the 08/09 series, I had assumed it was a...

Mkv support went into the 4.4.n series somewhere before or at 4.4.9.
You can get 4.4.11 (the latest) here... http://www.twonkyforum.com/unsupported/4.4.11/

A big Thank You to Twonky for re-considering and making the builds available again. And of course for continuing to update 4.4.x beyond 4.4.9 even after 5.0 is out.
