Hi
I wish a Button to reset a client connection. As I have differnt clients all over my house that would be nice to just stopp them playing remotely.
Sure, a full UPNP-Client controll (like Cidero) would be better. But ist easter not X-mas )

its so easy
Hi I dont understand a) why everyone wants that installer, b) why it does not work so often. The installer is really not needed, since the install is so easy: 1. Download an unzip the package, store it on your NAS (put it on a share) 2. Login to yout NAS (Telnet or SSH) 3. type cp /pathtoyourshare/t...

Hi (Un)fortunatly TV ist still the best... there are some alternatives eg, mt-daap if you use iTunes as client or slimserver (haven't tested these) It works for Music with Noxon Clients (they Add their own Internet Radio Stations). For Video/Fotos I us a Netgear EVA8000 which does not use UpnP, but ...

Hi They just stopped user-support for NAS. As I understood the binarys will be available. Thats just because of all the noobs not beeing able to install a "normal" software on their NAS stressing twonkys support. For me thats ok, everyone with minimal linux skills can install it and the others can b...

Hi
Have look at the config / shares. Set your music-folder to "music only", that will do the job.

Dbox
The Dbox can handle Shoutcast ;-)
Hi Don't now Dbox... does it have analog audio-in? And can it encode analog-audio to mp3 and stream it realtime? That is the topic of this tread... I am running twonky on NSLU2. USB-Soundcards are reportet to work with it and (I suppose) it ha...

other topic
Hi But, Martins question was about streaming analog input, not Dbox things! I would also like to do that. -There are lots of radio-stations on air without streaming (or not comatible formats). Would be nice to just connect your old UKW-radio to the server an stream that as mp3. -Or those Realaudio (...

podcasts
Hi Basicali podcasts are just mp3 files. And sure: every mp3-player can be used. The "new" part is, there is a xml-file that contains more infos (comments, Info abaut the podcast and the link to the mp3) Mostly podcasts are like recorded radio-broadcast that you can download. Would be nice to hear n...

PodCasts with twonky?
Hi
I would like to hear podcasts via tv...
My idea is to save the xml-files in a folder and add this to tv, just like playlists.
That should be quite easy as its normal mp3-files, you find the link inside the xml.
(At least the one I tried)
can we hope?
