HD content not longer supported?
Hi there, I am using Twonky Media since quite some time and after everything was working well with version 4 I upgraded to version 5 some time ago. Everything still was working very well but now since the last two revisions or something, I do not see the HD movies I have on my NAS in the TwonkyMedia...

Re: playing MKV on a PS3?
Well of course there are servers that can transcode on the fly, but first of all you need a quite decent cpu, so for a media server running on a NAS that will not work and also you specifically asked if it was possible with TwonkyMedia Server

Re: Content rescan doesn't seem to be working
I also seem to have the same problems. It did work with Twonky series 4 but not with 5.x what is kinda annoying!
Hopefully somebody finds the time to fix that. Also what I have is sometimes the same file twice in Twonky though there is no duplicate on the HDD ...

Re: x264 - H264/AVC - incompatible data?

Re: .MTS file streaming from iMac
well two things: first you have to check what the problems is, then you fix it. Try to put the file on a USB stick or copy it over from your twonky and see if plays fine from a local device. If so you have a connection problem. Usually wifi is fast enough for movie playback but different WLAN vendor...

Re: playing MKV on a PS3?
almost forgot: there is a little spark in the dark: DivX 7 will come with MKV support, so if Sony ever decides to also get DivX 7 certification, they will prolly also support MKV. Anyhow, Sony did neither commit to DivX 7 nor to also include MKV support.

Re: playing MKV on a PS3?
nope as the PlayStation3 doesn´t support mkv´s so without transcoding this is not going to fly. Also the PS3 doesn´t support DTS audio besides if its on a disc like DVD / BluRay -> also have to recode sound. I wonder if TVersity works for that, as it supports transcoding based on the client, but ...
