Re: How to access Shoutcast stations?

Connects to Shoutcast channels and pulls streams from there.

Re: Rescan after Restart

I don't get it: I have ~30,000 items in my library, and Twonky only takes about 3-5min to re-scan after a reboot. So, I would think a ~155,000 item library would only take roughly 5x as long, maybe 15min.

How can it possibly take 4 hours to re-scan?

Re: Problems with Directories

Yes, that's precisely what I'm saying. In the Twonky config, go to Sharing under Basic setup, and here, define your videos directory on the NAS as "Video-only" in the drop-down tab. Then define another media location for your music folder as "Music-only." You must have defined the top, parent folder...

Re: Problems with Directories

I have all my videos organized as you stated. I have a videos folder and inside that is Children's and Movies, and inside Childrens is TV Shows and Movies, and inside TV Shows is dora the explorer, sonic the hedgehog, etc. and inside each of those folders is all the AVI files. Then why, at your "th...

Re: Problems with Directories

Yes, you need to configure Twonky so that it looks for videos and broadcasts videos from a folder on the Linkstation that has only videos, and the same goes for music and photos. In other words, if you have videos and music mixed together in a single folder on the Linkstation, then you will have a f...

Re: Large jpg issues with PS3

So, it sorta seems like an Xbox 360 problem in that both my Mac Mini and my original Xbox, both running XBMC, have no problem at all streaming these larger pictures...in fact, they're not even that large compared with the sizes that some of you early on in the thread are mentioning. The problem appe...

Can only see up to 12 folders in Photo Tree's Folder node...

I'm using version 4.4.11 on a DNS-323, and, when viewing the photos node on the Xbox 360, when I go into the Photo tree and then to the Folders node, the Xbox only shows 12 folders. If I go back to the All Photos node of the Photo tree, I see all the photos. Similarly, all the photos are viewable wh...

Re: Large jpg issues with PS3

I, too, am experiencing this problem when streaming large .jpg images from my DNS-323 running Twonky 4.4.11 to my Xbox 360. I'll have to do some more testing tonight, but, it seemed like it was happening with photos over ~3000x2400 pixels in size, most of which were roughly 1MB or less in filesize, ...

Re: streamng video to xbox360

That article is from 2006...yes, Twonky does indeed stream video to the Xbox 360.
