Problem solved!
No problem after all.. Just a matter of patience!
All works fine now, so just changing the IP address at the Maxtor admin page is enough.

How to change the TwonIP address on Maxtor Shared Storage II
Hi there, I have Twonky installed on my Maxtor Shared Storage II. Works very well so far! Because of change of service provider I was forced to reconfigure my home network for a large part :o( I changed the IP address of the MSS-II from 192.168.2.3 to 10.0.2.222. I was assuming the Twonky IP address...
