Try linking to the HDD on the Sharing page by its network address but make sure you use the IP address in the Content Locations box not the domain i.e. use \\192.168.2.123\my_hdd instead of \\wd_TV_network_name\my_hdd - that works for me. No, it's because your installation has put the ini file into a folder that gets deleted each time the NAS restarts - often the /var folder.

I have had a look at your images and don't think there is anything that can be done from a config point of view to get this to work for you. It would need Twonky to change the way they sort based on the language chosen. At present there is no Polish selection for TMS but I know from other posts that...

In contentdir you put the folder path below the contentbase. I thought this would be your next problem but didn't mention it earlier as you have a C series TV and mine is a B series so it may have been different.
My Samsung TV cannot play Internet Radio streams but that is a limitation of the TV not Twonky. My PS3 is the same.

Even though you say the PS3 is listed corectly on the Media Receivers page try clicking Reset List and restarting the server.

I believe that you can use the key on up to 3 devices simultaneously. You might find that one is now tied to your deceased device but a quick email to Twonky can get that released.

Can you check on the Media Receivers web page to see what your TV is being detected as?
There doesn't seem to be an LG TV entry in the list for my 6.0.31 or 32 installations but there is an LG Blu-ray player entry which might be more aligned to your TV's abilities.

It went from v5 onwards. With v6 you can play a whole album from the Flash browser at /flash instead of /webbrowse.

Twonky might not like the _ in the folder name. Try renaming the folder (even if it is only to test) without the _ and see if the files are found.

If you open the web page for the Twonky media browser (http:\<<your-server-ip>>:9000/webbrowse) in Safari on your iPod you can play your music but the screen is a bit small to use and you have to keep expanding the page size to view it properly.

When 6.0.x files were posted Twonky said that they did not include remote access.

You could connect the PC and PS3 directly using a cross-over Ethernet cable, or connect them both to a hub, switch, router or access point. If they are in different rooms you could plug each into a Powerline adapter which then connects them via your power sockets.

Yes, you can set up Twonky to transcode and there are plenty of posts on this forum about how to do it. I recently set up transcoding from wma to mp3 and got it to work OK. You should be able to do the same for aac to mp3 if needed.

Have you tried playing the files directly from a memory stick?
I have a B650 Samsung TV and that will only play mp3 files. The newer C series must play more than this if you have got some aac files to play.
If the files don't play from USB then it's a TV problem and not a streaming problem.

I don't know why it has been removed but looking at the 2 profiles in v4.4.6 they are the same for the 3808 and 4308. Have you tried selecting the 4308?

Are you planning to install Twonky on the NAS or just use it to hold your media files? If it is just holding your files then all you need to do is put Twonky at the files location on the sharing page. You won't be able to browse to the network share on the NAS but you can manually enter the location...

Open the Twonky config page in your browser and go to the Sharing page - there you can set up your folders and decide what you want to scan them for; Music, Photos, Videos or all media.
