I have ripped 4 cd's with this tool with good results. Apparently there are differences in ripping that causes this.
Will switch to your recommended method then and will try to update the tags to the ID version you mention

Hi, Thanks for the reply, might be in the tagging indeed since some play and some (most) don't. Any idea where to look for in the tags version size of the included covers. As mentioned in the posting they play well on my pc using foobar2000 and on Tversity. I use that latest software on the philips ...
