Playlist on e3000
I have set up the e3000 media server, and seem to be able to play my music to my TV and WMP , but cannot access any playlists except the smart playlists. I installed the latest twonymanager trial to see if it would let me create playlists that could be accessed by my TV. Even with twonkymanager I ca...

Re: DNS232 not saving sharing settings
c-louse: The default location to store the settings is in a RAM drive, in the DNS's memory, and is re-created every time twonky runs. Look up the solutions to the pink LED problem to learn how to store the database & settings on the HDD. You'll have the pink LED problems as soon as you get more than...

Re: WMP11 lists twonky 4.4 server but not 5.0 server
I think I have found my own solution to this one; If my PC has both WMP11 and TMM on it, when I go to the media recievers web page on the server. ( in this case the DNS323), I have to set the reciever type to "Windows Media Player" for WMP11 to see the server. Unfortunately that messes up the TMM pl...

Re: WMP11 lists twonky 4.4 server but not 5.0 server
No reply for several days. I'm guessing you can't view my uploaded images. I will try to explain: The TMS 4 server appears in network view as "Twonky DNS-232 <newline>PVConnect:Windows Medi..." and appears in WMP11 Library view as "PVConnect on Twonky DNS-232" The TMS5 server appears in network view...

Re: WMP11 lists twonky 4.4 server but not 5.0 server
No, I'm OK with the default server name. I renistalled 4.4.17 to show what I mean
Here's the screenshots of the DNS323 running 5.0.65
Heres tthe same server on the same computer running 4.4.17 Notice the difference in the name format in network view?

WMP11 lists twonky 4.4 server but not 5.0 server
This issue is related to one that led me to Twonky in the 1st place. I had the native DNS323 server running but I could never get the server to show up on my Vista WMP11 library page. To be clear, I can see other media servers, and the NAS still has open access rights to sharing. I installed 4.4.x a...

Re: DNS323 not saving sharing settings
Thanks Briain, That did the trick for 5.0.65. It seemed to me the issue was the same with 5.1.08 beta 77, but I'll wait for the 5.1 release before I try it again. I keep making the same swap 323-232. My NAS is downstairs, so I took it from the twonky server Host name which is "Twonky DNS-232" ...

Re: DNS232 not saving sharing settings
I guess I should correct the NAS model number before continuing: DNS-232. Thanks, Briain. I had a further look and found some similar issues mentioned, but nothing quite applies, especially in light of the following: Since posting I've noticed the problem was much bigger than I thought. With TMS 5.0...

DNS232 not saving sharing settings
I just installed the latest twonkymediaserver 5.0.65. The install seemed fine, but when I changed the share settings and saved changes, the server scanned right from the root of my drive and ignores the sharing settings. I retried a few times. It may also be losing the database every restart Does an...
