Would it be possible to bring back MIPS big endian support in the special-build branch, again?
"Linux MIPS big endian uclibc 0.9.28" is missing since 7.0.9.
Thanks,
umgfoin.

TwonkyServer 6.0.34: bugs
m4a albumartist-tag still unevaluated.
Navigation trees based on albumartist-grouping will build incomplete.

Perhaps not all-embracing, but good as a starting point:kgrosser wrote:but why isn't there at least a proper documentation on all supported flags and commands.

I'll pass on this info to our engineers. Just so everyone knows that we are listening to your reports. Re: TwonkyServer 6.0.30 is Now Available!
. I checked the 'view-definitions.xml' file in the current version 6.0.30. So far it looks all right (e.g. container 'artistalbum' includes the parameter set sortcriteria='+pv:numberOfThisDisc,+upnp:originalTrackNumber') Herr Nilsson, does this concern any of your media tree-branches or just some o...

Re: How to Create Your Own Custom Navigation Trees
I have similar configuartion (Philips NP2900 and NP2500), Twonky 5.1 [...] How do I do this / where has the code you provide above have to be inserted? You have to edit clients.db in [twonkyroot]/resources: Locate the Philips Music Player NP2x00 , Philips Streamium NP2500 and Philips Streamium NP29...

Re: Fritz!Box 7270 and 5.1: Working, but various problems
When I was syncing them to my Xbox using Windows Media player I was able to see the artwork. When I use Twonky I dont see artwork. I guess, mediaplayer uses a different approach to extract embedded artwork-tags than twonky does. I generally refrain from embedding album-art in favour of the "folder....

Re: How to Create Your Own Custom Navigation Trees
In order to retain customtree's sort order populated to my device, I need to adjust client.db with attribute XM:IGNORESORT for the specific entries. Atleast my NP2x00 streamiums here, request an alphabetic sort-order otherwise. Additionally, adding a "sortcriteria" tag to the root-container-defs see...

Re: Fritz!Box 7270 and 5.1: Working, but various problems
All my folders have a folder.jpg in them, and all of the artwork is supposed to have embedded album art. I have bad experience with embedded album-art. NP2x00 seems to be picky about size, dimensions, formats etc. I can confirm, that atleast for some track-formats, embedded images have presedence o...

Remove any regular "call-home" code from twonkyserver and respect personal privacy of your customers as a sideeffect.
A (user initiated) one-time activation would be more than sufficient.

Re: Fritz!Box 7270 and 5.1: Working, but various problems
Larry, for me it helped to do some adjustments in client.db (located in the resources directory), which controls device-specific behaviour of the server. look for the NP2x00 sections. They start with: >> NA:Philips Streamium NP2x00 HH:NP2x00 You'll find all in all 3 relevant entries - NP2500, NP2900...

Custom tree "Class. componists/ albums"
Hello all,
I'd need some help in creating a custom tree for twonky 5.1 RC6 (beta 231):
How would I define a branch "Class. componists/ albums" that shows me all tracks grouped by componists and albums where the genre is 'classical' or 'classical general'?
Thanks for any input.

Re: Twonky for uClibc 0.9.29?
You can install µClibc 0.9.28 (or parts of it) in parallel and redirect the lib-search-path before starting twonky.

Please backport composer- and albumartist parsing for m4a, ogg & co. to version 4.4.x .
I'm willing to help with the implementation, if somebody can point me on infos/ examples about twonky 4 plugin-architecture etc.
