The 5.1 rc3 and 5.1.1 version don't address the .mkv and pause issues anyway no problem, if we apply the trick to rename all the file to .mpg now it works. I agree that samsung HAVE to support all the media server vendor and release a fw fully compliant, at the moment their client have a lot of bug ...

if you go in the twoky menu where devices are listed, can you see the ip address of the mac address of your tv?
if not the tv's lost the lan, so reconfigure tv lan address

There is no mode to retrive the embedded license stored in Mybook.i think, you've to back up the twonkymedia-server.ini and re copy it on new installation.
Also i use twonky + wd mybook & samsung

what is the OS? Vista? if is Vista you've to create an Administrator Vista account on the pc to solve this type of problems.

Did you try to downgrade to 4.4.17 or 4.4.18 versions to solve the issues? Actually in the forum we've discovered that this releases are more stable (for example for nas and samsung tv) than 5.x newest ver. Obviouslly we're waiting for a 5.1.1 new release more oriented for the non pc's windows world...

i think that is a codec problem. Your tv not support some of there. Avi is only a container.
The only thing that you can di is to analyze with a pc software (for example divx player) the codec type contained in your avi files
and eventually re-encode the content with the codec that pass this test
