Re: TMS 6.0.0 - bugs and comments
Is anyone else experiencing the "Rescan Content Directories" option not doing anything? I used to be able to click it and rescan after I had uploaded new movies and have it pick them up almost immeidately. Now, I have to rebuild the database to get them to show up. If I leave it sit for a while, the...

Re: Slow Xbox 360 picture browsing
I understand what is being said regarding the XBox 360 and Microsoft's ways... however, I'm pretty sure 6.0 slowed this down quite a bit from what I've seen... AND Twonky advertises (or did advertise) that it supported the XBox 360, so blaming Microsoft's ways isn't really acceptable :) Don't get me...

"Rescan Content Directories" not working in 6.0?
Since upgrading to 6.0, when I click the "Rescan Content Directories", I get no results. However, if I rebuild the database, it works fine. Anyone experience this or have a resolution?

Re: TMS 6.0.0 - bugs and comments
Prior to using 6.0.0, I was able to successfully attach artwork to WMV files which would display on my XBOX 360. However, after upgrading to 6.0.0, the artwork no longer shows up. Is this a bug, or are there plans on getting that function back? Thanks! EDIT - Sorry, didn't mean to hijack this thread...
Version 6
So, version 6 seems to have solved some of my missing title problems, however, took away my ability to give artwork to the files.
Anyone have any resolution? I was using the method I described in the artwork thread to attach the artwork to the WMV file.

Re: Artwork? - Round Deuce
I'm running Media Server 5.1.3 However, I forgot to add. If it was a file that was already streaming, and I simply added the artwork, I had to rebuild the database in Twonky to get the artwork to show up. I'm just adding a new file with artwork, I just rescan and it picks up the artwork. Give that a...

Re: Artwork? - Round Deuce
In order to do this, I downloaded and purchased a program called "MuvUnder Cover". Their website: http://www.muvenum.com/products/muvundercover/ I think it was like $15.00. The program was designed for music, but works for the WMV files as well. Once you have the file created, right click and go to ...

Re: Maximum number of files supported ?
Take a look in the XBOX forum. This is already listed as a problem. I've been told by support that they are researching it. Its always the first 300 or so that are listed alphabetically. So if you look at different genres, it will be the first 300 or so songs for the genre as well....

Re: Xbox 360 & Twonky: missing artists?
I've since sent another email to tech support. This time my email asked if they were able to recreate the problem and if they had any estimates on when it would be corrected. They simply responded with the same response: "Hi, we will investigate this issue and if necessary add a bug fix in one of th...

Re: Xbox 360 & Twonky: missing artists?
Email support. I've emailed them 2 times now. Maybe it just hasn't been seen as an issue. I don't think it has to do with artists - I think it is finding a limit on the number of songs. If you go to Genre, you'll probably see that it only shows the first 300 or so files as well...

Re: Xbox 360 Lists Erratic Numbers of Music Folders & Files
Well, today I began seeing the same problem with videos. If I go to the Server Status, I have 420 videos. However, when I go to pull them up on the Xbox I only can find 402... Has anyone else besides us run into this problem? I'd like to stick with Twonky (as I paid for it), but not if I'm going to ...

Re: Xbox 360 Lists Erratic Numbers of Music Folders & Files
Hello. I've been having the same issue. I posted as well but didn't get a reply. I'm using a DLink DNS-343 and XBox 360 and have approximately 8k songs, but can only see about 300 or so as well. I did email support and after a couple of emails back and forth - this is the reply I rec'd: Hi, we will ...

Just an update. Today, I downloaded the newest version of Media Server from the website, but am having the same problem. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know how to fix it? Thanks! Jason ps - I email support as well, but am awaiting a response. If I get an answer before someone else lets me ...

Only 332 Files Listed
I'm having a problem, that is new. I'm not sure when it started, but it was working in the past. I have Media Server (Purchased) and installed. I have pointed it at all my media locations, and using the web browser on computers, can find all of my files without issue. However, just recenetly, when I...

Re: Licence and settings lost on NAS reboot
I know this is an old post, but I don't know much about modifying the settings and such as was described earlier. I too keep loosing my settings with a server reboot. Anyone out there that can walk me through some "baby steps" to get this file modified as described above :D Greatly appreciated! Jason
