Re: Samsung Tv mp4 "Once Again"
Rene, I actually uploaded two non-working MP4/M4V files to ftp://sftp.pv.com/upload/ on the 18th: - destructoid--0028--dreamcastlives--hd.h264.mp4 - WP116DizzyRobot.m4v I have just now uploaded a working file as well: - commandN_EP_230_H264.mp4 For the record, I'm using a Samsung BD-C5500 with Twonk...

Re: TwonkyServer 6.0.30 is Now Available!
I hate to sound like a broken record (as I have reported these bugs before), but I'm still having the following issues (just tested with 6.0.30): - MP4 videos are totally hit and miss on my Samsung BD-C5500 blu-ray player, some work, some don't: http://www.twonkyforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=8637&p...

Re: The Final Release of TwonkyServer 6.0.28 is Now Available!
Finally got a chance to give 6.0.28 a spin and I'm happy to see some great progress, particularly on the Samsung support side of things. However, there are still some pretty blatant compatibility issues: - MP4 videos are totally hit and miss on my Samsung BD-C5500 blu-ray player, some work, some don...

Re: Samsung Tv mp4 "Once Again"
Agreed - the mkv support on my C5500 is pretty great now. Getting consistent mp4 support would really make things perfect - I don't know about you, but some of my mp4s work and some don't. I haven't been able to identify the pattern yet, but they all work perfectly when shared out through the built ...

Re: Transcoding AAC/M4A to WAV or MP3
Yes, this works well for me. I called the file m4a-mp3.desc and placed it in the ...\TwonkyMedia\cgi-bin folder. I also placed a copy of ffmpeg.exe (http://ffmpeg.arrozcru.org/autobuilds/) in the same folder. After restarting the Twonky service it should work, and you should have MP3 as a valid opti...

TwonkyServer 6.0.1 and M4A
Has anyone had success streaming M4A/AAC files to their SoundBridge with TwonkyServer 6.0.1? This used to work fine with version 5.x.x, but 6.x.x appears to be mis-reporting the bitrate of the files. I can see from Windows Media Player 12, that Twonky is reporting M4A files as having bitrates of 400...

Re: Transcoding AAC/M4A to WAV or MP3
Figured it out - in case anyone else is looking to do this, here is what my .desc file looks like:
# transcode audio (mp4 to mp3)
#(c) 2008 by PacketVideo
exec: ffmpeg -i $infile -f mp3 -acodec libmp3lame -ab 320K $outfile
# capabilities
from=audio/mp4
to=audio/mpeg
asynchronous
priority=idle

Transcoding AAC/M4A to WAV or MP3
Has anyone had any luck transcoding AAC/M4A files to WAV or MP3? I've been tinkering with a custom ffmpeg .desc file without any luck so far. Any advice?

Duplicate receivers in TMS 5.1.1
I've noticed an issue with TMS 5.1.1. When I select a non-default navigation tree for a receiver, restarting the Twonky services causes the devices to be detected again using the default navigation tree. This results in the default tree being used instead of the tree that I manually select. I've att...
