Just updated the device and it comes with TMS 5.1.3 and it has an option to do transcoding - I cant enable it, and see many other people cant with other NAS devices either. No one seems to be answering the questions.......
Can this setting be enabled on a NAS device or not ?

Is there anyway I can stream my stuff from my NAS to my iPhone ? So far I can connect to my Twonky server via safari, and can browse my media, but when i select it the iphone tries to download the file (which it can't do) and then returns an error. Is there a way to do this or have I failed. Cheers ...

Just in case anyone else is having this - I think the problem is the xbox360's limited playback codecs. Out of the box it works with .WMV and if you have a live connection you can download the Divx codec. It will still have problems playing certain Xvid files.
