Multiple "By folder" entries in list
For some reason my Samsung Smart Hub list has 4 "by folder" entries when I browse the twonky server that's on my network. Accessing any of the allows you to browse by folder, but its a bit irritating that it clogs up the menu screen with so many of the same entry. Is there any way to remove the dupl...

Re: Twonky server not appearing on Western Digital My book w
Just for anyone else having this problem I found a solution - it turned out my firewall was blocking access to the twonky server, so I disabled it and it's working fine now. I have a firewall on my external gateway so I'm still protected.

Twonky server not appearing on Western Digital My book world
I have a western digital my book world edition 2 and I think the Twonky Server is having problems. It used to be ok, but I noticed that although I could see the drive from my windows machine my new samsung tele wasn't picking up the media that's on it. I've now done some digging around, and there do...

Re: Photos not rotated properly on xbox 360
* bump *
is it just an xbox thing? Will a PS3 rotate them properly as it's DLNA compliant? Or because DLNA ridiculously says to pre-rotate, will that not do it either?

Creating a playlist
I have Twonky media server on my western digital my book world (piece of junk) and i was trying to work out how I can create a playlist that I can see on my xbox. Is that possible (and hopefully without having to do linux shell scripting or something equally ridiculous. I can see why Twonky is suppl...

Re: Connected Home/DLNA Best Practices
11. Pre-rotate your pictures before you copy them to your shared folder. The easiest way to do this is view them by thumbnails and right-click on the photos that need to be rotated. No, devices (i.e. Twonky) should recognise the "orientation" tag in the exif data, and interpret it accordingly. What...

Photos not rotated properly on xbox 360
Have just started using my WesternDigital mybookworld edition with my Xbox 360. One, the photos take forever to load up. I'm presuming this is a western digital problem, rather than a twonky problem, but wanted to check. Two, the photos aren't rotated properly - when I looked at photos from my PC it...
