Re: A solution for Twonky Server 7.x nas startup scanning

I get a blank page in return to the url query . Does this mean the parameter is undefined?
Other parameteres (e.g. nicrestart) deliver expected values.

I added a clearcacheonrestart 0 to the start command. Now I get a 0. But startup sacanning does still take place.

Re: A solution for Twonky Server 7.x nas startup scanning

To answer your questions: Twonky is started via a shell script "twonkymedia6.sh" in the Twonky installation folder, which is located in my Qnap 1bay NAS without RAID in /share/HDA_DATA/.qpkg/TwonkyMedia This script is called on system start or when Twonky is enabled in the administration Desktop ca...

Re: A solution for Twonky Server 7.x nas startup scanning

Yes you are right. I looked at /etc/config/twonkyvision-mediaserver6.ini I am pretty sure that this is the right one because it changes with the configuration from webserver and it is handed over in the startscript with commandline parameter "-inifile ..". Really would like to get a solution. Thanks...

Re: A solution for Twonky Server 7.x nas startup scanning

Does not work on qnap version 7.2.70.0. I have added the two command line parameters in TwonkyMedia/twonkymedia6.sh: $TWONKYSRV -scantime 0 -forceinitialscan 0 -inifile "${INIFILE}" -enableweb 2 -powersavemode 1 -logfile ${LOG_FILE} -suppressmenu mediafeeds 2>/dev/null 1>/dev/null & The parameters a...

Links broken! Where to download legacy Versions?

Where can I get legacy Versions of TwonkyServer (e.g. 4.4.18) for NAS?
The download links of some posts in this forum are broken.

Is there a Marvell Armada 370 or Kirkwood build of 4.4.18?

Licence Question 4.4.18 -> 7.x / Lifetime Upgrade Licence

I bought some years ago a TwonkyMedia Server Lifetime Upgrade Licence . Now I would like to replace my old NAS with a new one. Can I activate the recent TwonkyServer Version with an old licence key valid for 4.4.x? If activation is not possible: How can I carry out the Lifetime Upgrade to get a key ...

How to speed up startingTwonky Media Server 5.1.2?

Having upgraded from TMS 4.4.2 to TMS 5.1.2 I noticed that it took quite a while until all of my songs became visible. Under TMS 4.4.2 or earlier versions I never noticed such a long delay (my first TMS was from 2006). To investigate I measured the speed of 11500 MP3 files to become available after ...
