Re: Xbox 360 & Twonky: missing artists?
The other peculiar thing that happens to me when trying to browse files through TMS via my NAS on an XBOX 360 is that it crashes sometimes when I try to browse 'artists' (instead of truncating the list). It also does this when I try to play some playlists. I'm pretty sure the two problems are relate...

Re: Xbox 360 Lists Erratic Numbers of Music Folders & Files
Hey... I also posted on this issue. Thinking that maybe I should have searched before I posted... I am having this problem: Listing only 974 artists in my music folder which it should be more like 3150. I am not having it with video, and fingers-crossed it doesn't happen with that. Unfortunately TMS...

Re: XBOX doesn't find MKV files?!
Hey I don't know about the QNAP, but I know on my Thecus NAS the 360 won't play Matroska files. I don't think this is a problem with the NAS or with TwonkyMedia Server itself; I think it is simply because the 360 lacks the proper codecs to play Matroska files. You say that you can't see the MKV file...

I am also experiencing this problem on a Thecus N5200BR Pro. I am currently running TMS 5.1.3a but the problem also occurred in previous versions.

Re: XBMC vs XBOX360
Off-topic.. I wish there were XBMC for XBOX 360.
Just out of curiosity, why do you run Twonky for XBMC when you can just use samba or apple shares to access your networks directly?

TMS 5.1.3 truncating dir / TMS 5.1 crashing [LINUX]
Hello, I am streaming music from my Thecus N5200 NAS server to my XBOX 360 using TMS 5.1.3 but it is truncating the list about 1/3 into the listing. I reverted back to TMS 5.1, but now Twonky crashes completely when it tries to bring up the music directory. I believe this is because I have added a n...

Music list truncated
Hi, I'm streaming media from a Thecus N5200BR running TwonkyMedia Server to an XBOX 360. It all works great: videos and pictures work just like samba shares and music seems to be listed by ID3 tags. The problem though is that with my music, which has over 3,000 artists, the XBOX 360 truncates the li...
