Thanks for your answer.
That just simplifies the list of choices but I still have a useless "step".
To be more clear:
First menu:
Music
Photos
Videos
Second Menu:
All videos
By Folder
Third Menu:
list of my folders
I just want to jump from the first menu to the third.

If I am wrong, please put me in the right direction with the search results .... I only want to remove a level from the standard navigation tree. I am not familiar with xml...

Re: ByFolder Navigation starting from the "root" shared folder?
Because in WHS I can assign different attributes (mainly define a mirror copy) only at the first level. If I create a higher level, all the lower folders will have the same attributes, so I have to decide for all of them if I want a mirror or not .... and that is not want I want to do! It's not illo...

Re: How to Create Your Own Custom Navigation Trees
Rick, thanks for your answer but it was not what I was looking for .... infact I wrote "I know that I could get it rearranging the original folders to be shared, but for some reasons I could not" ... due to how WHS manages the duplication of shared folders.
I hoped there would be another way .....

Re: ByFolder Navigation starting from the "root" shared folder?
Thanks PeeBee, but I can't due to some costraints of my Windows Home Server and its way to manage "duplication folders".
I am looking for an option to include in the view so that it starts from the previous level .....

Re: How to Create Your Own Custom Navigation Trees
Hi Rick, in ByFolder view, I'd like to see the "root"shared folders as first level of the tree. When I share 2 or more folders, their subfolders are shown all together as first level. To be enough clear, this is the situation: I want to share: folderA with subfolderA1 and subfolderA2 folderB with su...

ByFolder Navigation starting from the "root" shared folder?
When I choose ByFolder navigation and for example I share 2 folders with their subfolders, in the DMP device I'd like to see the 2 folders and not the subfolders. For example: I share FolderA (with SubFolderA1 and SubFolderA2 as subfolders) and FolderB (with SubFolderB1 as subfolder). On the DMP dev...
