My earlier post was not quite clear: I know Sony Bravia is able to play MPEG2. For this reason I did put à video of this format into my video folder. This should show up in video list in any case, I thought. Nevertheless I"d like to play videos in other formats too and therefore need ffmpeg. Becaus...

I'm able to browse pictures and music (using audio transcoding) on my Sony Bravia TV too. Browsing video on the TV there is no video listed at all. I activated video transcoding (on linux you have to change the path in file /usr/local/twonkymedia/cgi-bin/ffmpeg.location from c:\ffmpeg to /usr/bin; d...
