Hm, I clicked on rebuild database and now it is working. But it was a fresh install, just added the directories....
Anyway, let's keep that in mind, maybe we find an explanation later.

Re: 6.0.34, "by folder" available via the flash browser only
Did that, no change. It was set to the advanced viewing already, haven't modified client.db and views.db or the view/*.xml files. They all do indicate that a by-folder structure should be visible. As said, in the flash based browser it shows up correctly. With html browsing, Samsung TVs and PS3 ther...

6.0.34, "by folder" available via the flash browser only
I have an odd case where I am lost. Fresh install of 6.0.34 for Linux, no changes, added the video directory and with the flash based browser I can see all navigation trees including the "by folder". In the html version of the media browser offered by the administration page there are just the Album...

Re: TwonkyServer MKV & Samsung Issue
With 6.0.28 the FF (and REW) does not work for me, well, to be more precise, it works but it jumps 1 second ahead per second which is obviously not much help. Have you tried DLNA scene selection with the PS3? It works so great. You get a list of all scenes each 5 minutes and you scroll to the image ...

Re: TwonkyServer MKV & Samsung Issue
I am bit confused now, one post reads as if 6.0.30 fixed the FF REW issue on Samsung, just now I found another post it says it does not. Just so you know, the serviio streaming server I tested recently does support FF REW functionality. You keep the cursor right button pressed, it skips for a few se...

Re: New Feature Requests
Geotagged based browsing Today more and more photos have geotags to know where they have been taken from, especially with DSLRs. (I use a Nikon D300 with the foolography bluetooth plug to connect any bluetooth GPS receiver to the camera) The big question is, how can you browse a map using the a DLNA...

Re: New Feature Requests
Searching in large image databases requires combinations of categories. Imagine a typical photo, it has lots of exif tags. Year, Keywords, Rating, etc The major advantage if that is you have multiple dimensions. With folders you can have one dimension only, e.g. 2010/Vacation/Spain. But what are you...

Re: New Feature Requests
Hierarchical Keywords in exif While the keyword support works great, an additional option would be to build a tree with the hierarchical keywords. The EXIF tag name is mp.lr.hierarchicalSubject. It got more and more popular to use this tag in addition to the keywords to build custom hierarchies like...
