Re: Sony Bravia EX500 not showing MPG
Yes im looking at the vids with the HTML client started from within the Twonky configuration.
The same .mpg files that twonky wont show on my Bravia TV are visible when i search them through the DLNA service that is natively on my ReadyNas (but hasnt got all the tweaking posibilities that TWonky has!)

Modifying view-definitions gone bad
Hi all, I've started modifying view-definitions, removing some of the containers i don't want. I also added my own view file, which did work, until some point After restarting the server, and trying the new view, all i get in the HTML view in my browser is the menu (home, upload, settings) and an em...

Re: Very confused about supported codec/containers for Bravi
Thanks for you reply! But it keeps confusing me ... MPEG-2 is the only video format that all DLNA-certified devices are required to play. I used to convert all of my HD videos to MPEG-2 1920x1080, unitl I found that some devices like my Sony Blu-ray can't play them. In those cases and for ripped DVD...

Password protect part of the video collection
I'm investigating the possibilities of Twonky to see if we can use it in the near future when our very old and bulky TV set is due for replacement. I'v got a readyNas setup, and trying out TwonkyServer on it. Besides our music and photo collection, our video collection consists of a lot of movies fo...

Re: Wifi photoframe and Twonky... does it work?
[quote="ThyMaster"]AFAIK there are NO wireless DLNA-compatible digi-frames on the market any more!
All you can do is look for used/refurbished ones (or lasted stock stuff).

Has there been any change in this situation since you posted this?

DLNA compliant Photoframe?
In your FAQ you suggest to look for a DLNA compliant network Photoframe ... I'v been searching for weeks now but I can only find two models, Buffalo and Philips, both have been discontinued.
I've contacted philips to see if they've got a replacment, but they don't
Anyone have any suggestions?
