Re: .@_thumb Files
Yeah, I don't find them on the server, either. I guess the TV must create them; I just didn't imagine that it would have storage for such things. It doesn't seem to be putting them on the server. Thanks again.

Re: .@_thumb Files
Well, I'm pretty sure Twonky creates the thumbnail files -- it's a sensible thing to do, and I don't know where the TV would store them. But not hiding them might well be the TV's fault. Re: Poor Performance with Panasonic TC-P42ST30
Thanks. The Samsung Blu-ray player doesn't handle the aspect ratio properly, either. Windows Media Player, on the other hand, does. I can deal with that, though; it's the basic streaming problems that I really need a fix for.

Poor Performance with Panasonic TC-P42ST30
I recently got a QNAP TS-219P+ NAS, which has TwonkyMedia built-in (version 5.1.6, I think). A primary application was to be streaming videos to Panasonic Viera plasma TVs, including a couple of TC-P42ST30s I already have, via DLNA. I found this version would connect with the TVs reasonably quickly ...
