thank you very much for your effort, i will test this when a 7.x version is available for nas. it's just a pity that the twonky developer is not willing to implement the simple option to turn off this unnecessary and annoying (at least for people with large media collections) rescan at startup.

Hello Rick, thanks again for your answer. As Twonky automatically detects changed or new files while it is running, newly added media does appear immediatley, as it is intended (and this works great btw). So i don't think that the process twonky executes at a restart influences this behaviour. As ex...
