Ok, I found... Twonky didn't use video embeded tags (unlike MP3s) as of version 6.0.38 instead used a database. Which I really dislike. It uses Twonky manager to do the database. And as for the years, I used a program called "setfiledate" which I could "re" set the dates for creation, modification, ...

What instructions did you use to install Twonky? It sounds like you have not relocated the Twonky appdata directory and the partition containing the /var directory is being filled to capacity. Before I installed Twonky, windows exporer could access the nas. After installing Twonky, explorer could not access the nas. I could ftp. My media player did great. I even did a factory reset on the nas and after a few minutes the explorer again could not access the nas. I finially chmod 666 starttw...

Thanks - Through some quick testing I figured out encoding AVI with MPeg 4 would play and the size difference is abt 200mb larger.
Now to find a converter...

I have the 323 and after a couple minutes I could no longer connect via http method altho I could still connect through windows explorer either maped as a drive or through network neighborhood.
