Re: Enableweb streaming how-to
Hi, I know this is a very old post, but I hope I can still get some answers. I had to reinstall my MBL, and now I'm in the process of setting it up as I had it before, but I'm unable to achieve some configurations as I had them before. I installed the latest available version, 8.2 - Can I put a pass...

Re: Not streaming external subtitles for MKV or MP4
As I added in the previous message, I have just checked that subtitles are not shown for MP4 files either. Could anyone else check it, please?

Not streaming external subtitles for MKV or MP4
Hi all, I have Twonky Server v7.0.9 running in a NAS device (a My Book Live network drive). External subtitles are streamed correctly for most of video formats, and MKV containers with subtitles 'contained' are shown also correctly. But MKV files with an external .srt subtitle file (with the same na...

Re: Enableweb streaming how-to
I got it working, but if I access to the web interface remotely I can't click on any link ("Music", "videos", etc..), the website timeouts when I press them.
Locally they work fine.

@phibertron
Thank you very much for your answer, I will try it soon. One more question, do you know if streaming from another location is also available in Twonky 5.1.9?

Re: Enableweb streaming how-to
Hello, I have a Western Digital My Book Live NAS device, running Twonky 5.1.9. I tried to follow these steps, but the file "twonkymedia-server.ini" is nowhere to be found. In the twonky folder there is only "twonkymedia-server-default.ini", which doesn't have any of the options said in the first pos...

Remote web access
Hi, I have a network hard drive WD My Book Live, running TwonkyServer 6.0.39. I have made a port forwarding in the router, so the port 9000 directs to the drive. That works fine from inside my network. When I am outside my home network, I can still access Twonky web interface using my public IP:9000...

Re: Subtitles on Twonky 6.0.38 not working
Hi, Thanks for your answer. Yes, I suspected the problem was the Xbox. And it doesn't list MKV files as video files, so I can't try those with subtitles. Just one more thing, to be clear, Twonky 6.0.3X streams external subtitles, right? Do you know which media players are able to show them? Cheers

Subtitles on Twonky 6.0.38 not working
Hi, I have a WD My Book Live 2Tb streaming Twonky to an Xbox 360. Yesterday I upgraded the default TwonkyServer installation in the drive (5.something) to 6.0.38 hoping to be able to get subtitles, but they don't work. I have tried with different video formats (althought most of them, .avi), and the...
