Direct shared folder start on a TEAC AR-100
Dear experts, I'm now using Twonky for years on an old QNAP but upgraded now to a WD Live Duo and installed 7.09 Twonky for different reasons. I defined the shared directory (here Music), made the choice for the device to: By folder. I fixed the sorting problem of the songs (astonishing that this ha...

Twonky 4.xx stops working after a few hours or a day
Dear all, every time I install the server it works fine and the data base is built. After a while - I cannot really specify - the server stops working. At least neither the PS3 (photo streaming) nor the web access via PC works. Reason could be that I made mistakes be deleting the 5.x version (I was ...

Re: Latest PSP3 System Update Issue
I also changed the client.db entry. PS3 is shown in Twonky correctly.
But: All mt2s are no longer streamable.
Must be something else.
Let's hope on a fast bug fix ....
Thanks.

Re: Latest PSP3 System Update Issue
Same problem in my case.
After the update on PS3 2.41 mt2s files are no longer 'streamable'. Thanks Sony! I hope Twonky can fix it asap.
I tried to rename mts, mpg but nothing worked.
Recoding is for sure no option. I use the external harddisc as an intermediate solution.
Best regards.

Preview pictures
Dear all, I installed 4.4.4RC3 on a terastation (perfect! M2ts files are now shown and streamable). But: In former versions the thumbnail pictures were shown directly and fast by the PS3. Very helpful to get a overview of a directory. In the new version I can rebuild the database completely but PS3 ...

Re: How to downgrade firmware?
After upgrading NOXON2 Audio firmware to version 17.6292, I too have experienced problems with sorting on folders/filenames. Problems occur with Twonky4.3 and also with MusicMatch Jukebox 10 Server, so this appears to be a NOXON2 firmware problem, not a TwonkyVision 4.x problem. I listen to classic...

Special characters (Umlaute) on Terastation ok with Samba 3
To whom it may concern: Using Noxon + Terastation (old version) all special characters using Twonky were not shown on the Noxon. (no problems with streaming from a MSS+). By updating the terastation to firmware 2.14 and adding new libraries and installing new Samba 3.x version this problem is now so...

TIF files streamed to PS3
Dear Twonky Team,
what about TIF to be streamed. I'm doing something wrong or are these files filtered off in Twonkymedia?? (MSS+).
Fact is that JPEG works fine but TIF are not shown at all on the PS3. The latter ones works fine from a direct connected USB disk.
Thanks for support!

TIF files streamed to PS3
Does the PS3 client support viewing TIF's locally? I'm not sure what you mean by your question. Again my experience with the different programs etc.: - streaming JPEG to PS3: ok - streaming TIFF to PS3: not compatible data - using Windows viewer: Quicktime shows all pictures - using USB hard drive:...

TIF files on PS3
Dear twonky team,
why it is not possible to stream TIF - files to the PS3?
JPEG works fine, but TIF files are shown as 'not compatible'.
From an attached USB - disc everthing works fine.
Thanks for answering,
Best regards,
Karsten

Re: Display and Sort Files by their original Filenames
Some Clients - and also my "Noxon Audio 2" - are always re-sorting all titles  ALPHABETICALLY, leading to a totally wrong title sequence: Chris, I have the same problem with the Noxon. PS3 sorts using the ID3 track number but Noxon 2 sorts alphabetically. I figured out that it depends on the ...

Update database with selected directories
It would be great to have the opportunity to update the database only in these directoriries which have new files. It would be much more faster than the rescan of all files. How it can look like: - similar to the directory list for the database - special 'seletive update page' - allows to select the...

... MP3 all good MPG Mpeg1 files work VOB files, both sound and video although I haven't gotten DD5.1 to come through yet JPG all good (someone else noted a problem with file extensions in caps, but this wasn't a problem for me) .... I tried only pictures more or less in detail: JPEG is fine, but d...
