I have installed twonkymedia server on to a laptop running ubuntu 7.04 (feisty) The install seemed to go ok, however twonky will not automatically start when the machine does. I am a linux newbie however the twonkyserver file is in the etc/init.d folder. I have had a look at adding it to 'sessions' ...

Yes i am aware this does not have a hard drive, however i have several hundred of these at home. Therefore the £30 i would pay for the enclosure is well about £150 pound less than a product with twonky already installed. Does anybody know whether this would be able to handle Twonly Media server? Never mind have found it now. You could answer this question though. I have just updated twonky and noticed on the firmware site http://website.wl500g.info/beta/wizard.php?brand=1&model=4&cat=firmware that there is now a 'g' version of the firmware. Is it possible to play tracks downloaded from a legal download site, such as napster. If so is it compatible with napster to go.
