Server media filers from a Wetern Digital My Book NAS
I've been using Twonky as a media server for a couple of years. Recently, my hard drive has become full. I decided to get a Western Digital My Book Network Attached Storage device. I mounted the My Book as drive M: using Windows XP. I went into the Twonky config page intending to share content from ...

I have the same issue. The Denon will display pictures in the Music Server menu when using Windows Media Player or J River Media Center as dlna / uPnP servers. The Denon will also serve pictures over USB. I am running the latest firmware and have submitted this issue to Denon technical support. Anot...

FLAC tags served as "Unknown"
I am running Version 4.4.4 RC2 with a mixture of FLAC and MP3 files. I am using a Denon 4308CI and an Archos 605 as clients. With both clients, many of the FLAC files appear in the Music Tree as "unkown" artist and "unknown" album with the filename listed as the track. When I select one of these fil...

I found the problem! If I remove all of the ogg files from the content directory (it also has flac, mp3 and wma files), there is no memoery leak. I haven't added any ogg files to my library in over 2 years and used to only serve ogg files using Twonky. Therefore, something must have broken in one of...

Besides doing an uninstall and deleting the Documents and Settings\...\Application Data\TwonkyMedia directory, what else do I need to do to completely remove Twonky? I added another 3GB of RAM to my system with no success. Within minutes of starting the TwonyMediaServer, all of the memory is consume...

OK I've got some more info. I turned on all logging. I don't see anything that indicates a problem other than it takes a very long time to scan the contents in the directory. I let Twonky run uniteruppted and it took almost 4 days to add the 6,000 songs in my content directory. I also tried the new ...

Possible Memory Leak
I've been using Twonky Media Server for two years. Over the past few months I noticed that the performance of my Windows XP machine has become very poor. I finally got around to looking into the problem and it appears that Twonky Media Server is consuming huge amounts of memory, forcing the system i...

4.4.3.1 and the previous RC seem to have caused a memory leak on my PC. I am running Windows XP. Since installing the last RC, the system is extremely slow. When I go into Task Manager, TwonkyMediaServer.exe is showing as consuming huge amounts of memory (ex. 302,000 kb). Thise is slowing down the s...

Random Order When Streaming Pictures
I recently purcvhase a Koda EX1011 digital picture frame with WiFi. Twonkyvision works great as a media server streaming pictures to the frame. However, it always serves the pictures in the same order. Is there a way to randomize the order in which the pictures are displayed from the server side? Th...
