Re: This key is already in use by another instance of the server.
OK. On a Windows 10 PC downstairs, accessing the Music Server tells me my trial key has expired. It is not a trial key. I have had it for a few years, and I paid for it. MANAGE TWONKY SERVER LICENSE KEY tells me I have THREE instances running. Bad bug preventing me from using a package I paid for. P...

18 months later, and the same has happened again. Anyone ever find a solution for this? Can't remember what fixed it last time round as it's so long ago.

Tray icon not appearing
Twonky Tray application is defined as a startup item (Windows 10). Nothing shows. Only way I can access it is to open twonkytray, exe from File Explorer.
How can I get it to always show in the system tray?

File & track names not recognised
By folder view (my main view) This is driving me mad. Neither title nor filename are recognised, and ...

Library rebuild every boot
Is this really necessary? I have a music library of some 150,000 tracks (I don't use Twonky of other media than audio), and every time I boot the library takes a couple of hours to rebuild.
Why?

The server is connected to a Marantz M-CR510 network device which streams my audio collection. Thanks for the tip on logging. I'll try the navigation tree option and see if that sorts this out.

Re: "All tracks" option
Thank you, I'll try that - but why am I offered something I have not configured, and which is misleading - "All Tracks" contains less than a fifth of my complete collection, and seems to be a random selection!

"All tracks" option
I use just the "By folder" navigation option; regardless, I get an option entitled "All tracks", which seems to have a random selections of tracks and is only a small fraction of my collection. I'd like to get rid of this option. How? Am on 8.0.3, Windows 10 x64 all updates

Stuttering playback
I've started to get this regularly in the past week. Sometimes the track buffers and recovers, sometimes the server just goes on to the next track. We have a very low use network. Often there is only my hardwired PC (music server) and my Marantz C-MR510 box (also hardwired), and my wife's tablet (wi...

Update @ 16:22 BST. Same as usual, I can play 10 seconds of one track, and then the music server reloads. Log attached. Log entry times seem odd? No, it seems logging was already on, and the latest entries read 08/20/15 16:21:43:349 [Error] - LOG_SYSTEM: upnp_socket_connect_timeout : connect/select ...

Music Library keeps "disappearing"
I recently upgraded, with no problems, from Windows 7 Pro x64 to Windows 10. At first, my Twonky server (which supports just a Marantz M-CR510) was fine - now, it seems to disconnect and restart 10 seconds into the first track I play. This manifests in the Explorer Network display thus - the "Music ...

Using playlists in "By folder" setup
I'm accessing my large music library using the "By folder" option, which (apart from not playing tracks by track, rather alphabetically by title, which a large scale retag exercise has dealt with) works fine. I'd also like to be able to access my m32 playlists. How can I implement that?
Cheers

By Folder option. Track sorting
The size of my Music Library means that the By Folder presentation is the only truly practicable option for me to use for easy navigation. However, using this mode, tracks play alphabetically rather than by track number. This is a nonsense. Irritating for most albums, much of my library comprises li...

General advice on Twonky and streaming
Hi - whilst new to streaming, I have extensive Windows experience from home and use at work in a software company). I've set up a Marantz M-CR510 box, and want some advise on streamlining the setup. I have a large music library, over 4Tb, mostly Flac, so on my PC I don't use WMP (doesn't handle Flac...
