I may be late on this but exactly the same problem is happening for me but on my LenovoEMX ix4-300d server. My Samsung UN55D8000 will only show thumbnails when Media Receiver Type is set to "Samsung TV" and not "Samsung Smart TV". Every time I set it, it changes back to "Samsung Smart TV". Or should...
