I was able to work around this by adding a DNS entry to my server's hosts file, I pointed smartlynx.lynxtechnology.com at the IP from twonkyserver.lynxtechnology.com
Still it's a reminder that my ability to use the software I purchased is limited by your server availability. I wish it weren't so.

It's Version: Twonky Server 8.5 and the licensing server appears to be at smartlynx.lynxtechnology.com which is down according to https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/sma ... nology.com

Twonky License Server Down?
My media server is saying "Please re-connect to the internet in order to use Twonky Server" but it has an internet connection. I noticed that clicking "License Key" results in a DNS error. Is the license server down?

It is possible to start Twonky at boot before a user logs in using launchctl. I have tested Twonky 8.4 with MacOS Sierra 10.12.3 and it works great.
