Running fine here. I never got the MyTwonky stuff working thou, it shows me as being logged on from my server, but MyTwonky site doesn't seem to see me being connected, as clicking My Library, it always just offers me the download for the Windows or Mac version. Perhaps I need to open firewall ports...

Any further news on the broken Kirkwood build? I have been unable to run the latest stable release, and stuck on an old RC. I'm concerned 6.0.33 had been canceled, and Kirkwood/Sheevaplug owners have been left without an upgrade path...

As mentioned, it's because of the non-standard layout the device has. Use -appdir to relocate to somewhere with adequate space. Also looking for the NAS builds. The FLAC2WAV transcoding issue was fixed in 6.0.23 for me (Kirkwood Linux server streaming to PS3), so it looks like the changelog above is a cumulative changelog of 6.0.23 and 6.0.28

I would agree that ContentBase needs exposing to the web interface and documenting if possible, it's a comonly used feature. I suspect the reason it's not exposed is for the commercial NAS products, they don't want end-users fiddling with it and exposing other parts of the OS filesystem to the serve...

It's all about standards, which are there for a reason. If Microsoft choose to ignore them, then it's going to be detrimental to cross platform support.

Sounds like your NAS may be wiping the /var partition on reboot (some nas devices are configured this way some some bizzare reason) This is where Twonky stores it's settings by default. Have you ensured the PS3 detected correctly in the clients table in the web interface? If it is, then you need to ensure it's not a problem with the media you are trying to share. This is a very important point, DLNA does not cover everything. MKV is a rather complicated format, and certainly not part of DLNA certification.
Personally, I don't understand why people use it, as MPEG2 and MPEG4 containers work perfectly fine for me, and have much wider product support.

I did see a problem in the betas, where the flash interface did not initialise fully if you were only sharing videos. I added a couple of music tracks and it then worked. Could this be your problem?
