My issue was resolved by uninstalling the twonky qpkg and then manually deleting all twonky related files (noticed that there were some ARM x19 leftover entries/files) and cache databases. After a fresh install of the x86_64 qpkg and reconfiguration and a couple of hours waiting, all thumbs now show...

Couple of updates... Further investigating this issue I found that indeed ffmpeg was creating thumbnails forever, given the qnap processing power isnt that huge. Some mitigation was possible by specifying a smaller resolution size of the created thumbs, but it was still too heavy of a load for me. S...

Same problem here, would appreciate any help. I did confirm that the ffmpeg path is set in ffmpeg.location, yet, in the DB cache folder, all of the files have the appendix ".unsupported".
