Just to say that my server has not "deregistered" since I copied TwonkyVision-MediaServer.ini into TwonkyMedia-default.ini. I have this problem too but it does't seem to be tied to server restarts...however if it helps when I checked the config I saw that the search folder was back to c:\OurMusic which I think is my standard but no one elses so I searched, and along side TwonkyVision-MediaServer.ini I found TwonkyMedia-d...

Does it copy from TwonkyMedia-default.ini?
OK so the fix I posted lasted for a few weeks (several reboots in between so I don't think its related to restarting) then I noticed it was off again.... ...however if it helps when I checked the config I saw that the search folder was back to c:\OurMusic which I think is my standard but no one else...

Seems to be after the upgrade to media server
I think I have solved this now on my PC.. I found that my desktop icon was pointing to the twonkymediaserver.exe instead of the .html page that the start menu now starts. This meant that clicking the icon created a new process, which I think was started with the user I was logged in as and so forgot...

Mine just started doing this today too, it has also started duplicating.... By this I mean that if I click the link to get to the config page it does not get to the config page of the process running as a service it starts another process with the owner as my username.
