Re: Upgrading TMS on a 1TB WD MBWE White

I'd like to know this too. I bought the MBWE to replace my Unslung Slug which is running Twonky Ver 4.3. I thought I'd upgrade my Twonky, have a less "hands on" NAS to run it on and upgrade the hard disk all at the same time. Unfortunately the MBWE comes with Twonky 5.1 which, due to a bug, is not r...

Re: !!!Auto Content Detection (working) - PLEASE!!!

This started happening with Ver 4.3 and it is very annoying.

If it works correctly in ver 4.4.x then perhaps I should think about upgrading

Thats very disappointing. They are alienating a large proportion of their customers. :? Its a pity they haven't had the decency to let their customers know - they have contact details for all the registered copies of the software. The NSLU2 is so convenient (cheap, reliable, quiet, unobtrusive) but ...

I don't know for sure but the number could be the MAC address of the WAS 700. You should be able to get this number from your router (attached devices).

Hi Mike I am successfully using the "Album Artist" indexing. I have found that, after ripping CDs or downloading tracks the "Album Artist" tag is often empty. I use Windows Media Player 11 to edit the "Album Artist" tag to ensure it holds the correct information. If I remember correctly to edit the ...

Do you have the "shuffle" play mode selected? I think this could cause this problem.

1. Twonkymedia ( currently for music but ultimately will be all media)

2. UNSLUNG NSLU2 with Seagate 250GB usb drive.

3. MP101 ( experimenting at the moment - reviewing other possiblilties)
