As an update to my previous post about modifying the client.data file on the TS-109. The first 3 digits of each line are the (decimal) length of the data string that follows it. So if e.g. your IP address is different from the 13 digits in my example please also change the first 3 digits to reflect ...

I decided to find out if editing the clients.dat file found in the Twonky Vision directory on my QNAP TS-109 (/mnt/HDA_ROOT/twonkymedia) would solve the problem of recognising my Pinnacle M1001. I agree with ThyMaster that the problem with having alphabet letters and search lies with Twonky 4.4.4 I am running Twonky 4.4 from a Iomega Storcenter 250 that I installed myself and recently I got a QNAP TS-109 with Twonky 4.4.4 installed.
