If true, this is the end of the road for me wrt Twonky. I will never run a machine just to serve music/vids, as the NAS setups are the only way to do it as far as I'm concerned. My hope is that Christian et al. continue to produce the installers, with the general knowledge there is no support for t...

Detecting video file formats for Xbox 360
How does Twonky decide if a file is suitable as a valid video format for the end client, in particular for the Xbox 360. Now that the 360 supports DivX/Xvid, yay :D , I started going through my collection to test some out. Everything worked well except for one file which didn't appear in the list of...

Three questions about the latest beta 4.4b3: 1> Is it possible to set the second port so that it points directly to the html music player rather than having to specify "/webbrowse"? For example, I would like to enter http://myip.org:9100 and it goes straight there. My reason, is so that my Showcente...

My Xbox 360 can see it, but it's not seeing everything so basically it's screwed. My ShowCenter 200 can see it, but its uPnP support is pretty crappy. My Nokia N95 can see it but I have no other uPnP device to control (the N95 cannot play the media directly) I think Windows Media Player under Vista ...

Thank-you. However, two problems encountered upgrading to Terastation version: 1> Would not upgrade - no errors, just kept to 4.2.1 even after reboot of NAS. Had to uninstall/install, but no biggy to me as still evaluating. 2> Xbox 360 now sees folders, but not all of them and then never more than 2...

I got the following back from an email to the support guys here: Hi, we are working on an update which we hope can be released next week. Thanks The TwonkyVision Team I hope it can be sooner - it seems like it's a simple fix as the TVersity chaps got a patch out a few hours after it was reported. Ju...
