Re: Unwanted top-level menus

The ps3 must be giving hints otherwise other DLNA servers wouldn't be able to autoselect the right folders to display under a given category, WHICH THEY DO JUST FINE.
It's just bad design from Twonky which has been going on FOREVER. It's quite sad really.

Indeed Trendy.
FUPPES does this also extremely well, and for free.
I cannot figure out why Christian wants to force this useless stuff on Twonky users.

I hope there's a way to remove "ALL Images" "All Movies" etc.. and pretty mcuh everything the user wants to remove when using Custom mode.
Been requesting this for a while, as some others peeps did too, but nothing is being done..
Christian, please listen to users!

Well, since competitors products don't have the issue, my guess is that it's a twonky issue :p What products? All the servers I have tried (WMP11, Nero, MediaTomb) all work in the same way, and show the extra uneeded nodes, which I why I was laying the blame in Sony's court... Try FUPPES. Later, TSR

This post above is most likely the best post on those forums, ever. Thanks VAMET. Of course i agree with you and wish all the stuff that's supported from mass storage can be supported from twonky. Saying Twonky supports the PS3 when 80% of the formats are in fact unsupported is some kind of bad joke...
