I haven't had a problem streaming... H.264/AAC video, AAC audio... (I think you mean H.264/AVC video...) I have the same problem... I guess it somehow depends on our NAS. komp, can you clarify exactly which files to delete? I'm going to give your suggestion a try but I don't want to cause any damage...

I'm unable to stream my AVC mp4 files from my NAS (HP MediaVault) to my PS3. They show up as Unsupported Data, though I can play them fine from a thumbdrive.

Awesome. Both music track order and photo timestamp order are now streaming correctly to my PS3! I can now truly claim that Music and Pictures work well.

One remaining minor annoyance: there's still an '*' at the end of all track names...

I'm bit skeptical of this explanation. Most of my album names are without brackets of any type and their tracks are out of order... I'm not doubting what you observed, of course, just wondering if something else is at work there.

I don't see album art when streaming an MP3 file to a PS3. That same MP3 file on the PS3's drive does show the ablum art.
