Re: Lost the weblinks on the 8.1.2 update
Thanks for the reply Tonky Marco I've actually just rolled back to Version: 7.2.7 as that has the links I need that are right clickable. Beaming to the device just had me downloading the file for playback (when I beamed from the web browser to the computer (that was running the web browser) It might...

Lost the weblinks on the 8.1.2 update
Hi All, Since upgrading to 8.1.2 (don't recall which version I came from but it probably wasn't 8.0) I can't get access to the web links on the :9000 webpage. My usual viewing workflow is to fire up the browser and find the program I want to watch, right click and copy this link and then paste that ...

Re: My Digital Home
Hi Arc, As yet no reply. But good things come to those who wait. The one 'point' I didn't include in the 'wish list' was the as well as the folder filtering ability would be the removal of the appropriate content from the 'view all' function. Not a lot of point in hiding the 'adult: horror' folder i...

My Digital Home
I'm not sure if this is the right section of the forum, so those who can please feel free to move into the right section. This is my new features request and I thought I'd do some background on how it's all held together. About my current set up. It is predominantly used for video playback. We ripp...

2 Little problems
Problem 1 I seem to be getting slight stuttering on NTSC files on my DSM-510, noticeable on pans and on movement. Like every 100th frame is missing. Anyone got a suggestion I rip both pal and ntsc discs using magic dvd ripper on it's original mpeg setting to create a dvd quality copy with the 5.1 s...

Re: Are You Happy With Your DLink Hardware?
As with all things there is always a niggle or two, but generally I'm over the moon and all the dvd players have got thick layers of dust on them now 8) I run a Windows 2003 server with over 2tb of storage (it'll be 6tb soon once I get that sata raid up and running). Currently this only streams out ...

Re: Access Rights for multiple devices
Would it be possible to run two servers (one licence) and allow the kids access to the under 12 stuff and the second server access to all?
Will go off and have a play over the weekend me thinks
Cheers,
Marcus

Access Rights for multiple devices
Hi there. Got my twonky set up running well and like the media server/player concept so much I've got a second dlink box (520 lounge - 320 kids) for the kids. My problem is I would like to restrict what the kids can watch upstairs..... Is it possible (could it be made possible 8) ) to have different...

DTS question....
<snip> I'd like to see (and hear) more support for surround formats - particularly DTS (*.dts) DTS-WAV (*.wav) <snip>
Given that I don't (currently) have a DTS amp, I am curious ... does the twonky (and In my case DSM520) support DTS play...

Has anyone got to the bottom of this 'topic' yet? Simple solution - just get ifoedit and remove all the audio tracks you don't want. Can't work that one out either. I'm using magic dvd ripper to pull off the movies into single mpeg files... The audio plays quite happily in wmp/intervideo dvd... But ...
