Well the first thing to check is if the install occurred. The 'Media Server' folder should be in Library/StartupItems (not your user Library) so it will start up with the computer. Within the 'Media Server' you should have a 'Resources' folder, a PList file and the Media Server Unix executable file....

Let me echo that... BETA versions are designed for testing. The people taking the time to "whine and complain" are sending feedback to the company so the product can get better. Much better that than removing the product and moving on. From what I've see this is a well made product with solid founda...

Just updated to the new beta and got the same problem. I noticed that the Safari application is being launched by the 'System Administrator' which is one of the default profiles in OS X. Twonky + DSM320 + Mac Success

I had to hack around a bit but I have things working fairly well now so I thought I'd share. I'm on a Mac G5 with OS X 10.4.9 and using TwonkyVision 4.4 Beta 4. Here's what I noted: -I initially tried the EyeConnect software. It looked good but was very flakey and I couldn't get it working reliably....
