Ditto on mkv2vob http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=131782 works really well. Convert the MKV to another format. I use m2ts since its a "Sony" standard and will likely be supported well on a PS3. It is very easy to convert and very fast as well.

I found a work around. When playing music, hit the stop button before going back to XMB to pick a new selection. I know, album art is not a big deal, but I spent a lot of time getting all my album art in/fixed up. I want it to work.

Something changed with PS3 2.10 as well. When I added new music, it would not show album art, but existing tracks did. I rebuilt the database, now they all have the same problem. Album is not a selectable type in the music tree dropdown menu including custom. I've been using Twonky for a very long time. There has always been Album available before 4.4.3

Any idea why Album art no longer works?

4.4.3 does not have album in music tree.

On my system album art display no longer works when track is playing. since PS3 2.10. This is true in 4.4.2 and 4.4.3. Art is visible when looking at album.

Unless you are really adventurous, I would just stick to running the Twonky server on a separate Linux machine and keep the PS3 as a client. In theory, you could install Linux as an OS on the PS3 and it could be both the server and the client, but I think it would be more trouble than it is worth.

I dont think he wants to install Linux on the PS3. I think he wants a standard Linux Twonky server and a PS3 client. I tried WMV once and it did not work.

revised EXIF parser for pictures which extracts date information and thumbnails
What does it do differently? I dont see a change using a PS3 (which works very well). I had dates and thumbnails before. Time still always shows 12:00. The time thing is not a big deal. Just curious.

I see the same thing on my Linux Twonky 4.4.2. Setting to -1 goes back to 60. I wouldn't set it to 1. How often do you add content to your library? I have mine set to 1440. Once a day is fine for me.

I think the OPs issue is simple, and not a Twonky issue at all. It looks like he bought DRM protected WMA music and it wont play. This is normal and the reason not to buy DRM protected music.

I still sounds to me that the OP downloaded WMA music with the cursed DRM protection. DRM is a cool technology that allows you buy music without the ability to actually play it.

When I view pics on my PS3, the date is right, but the time is always 12:00 am (Twonky 4.4 Linux). If I look at the pics locally in the PS3, the timestamp is correct. Is Twonky not reading/passing the time in the Exif?
