Re: Buffalo Link Theater
Problem solved. After some extensive testing on a few different machines, it seems that the issue was the 64 Bit OS. Both Twonky and TVersity had the same exact issue when running on 64 Bit Windows 2003 Server as well as 64 Bit Windows XP. I now have Twonky running in a 32 bit Virtual Machine (windo...

Buffalo Link Theater
Hello all, I have a buffalo Link theater and I cant seem to play video correctly on it. Every since I upgraded to 4.4.4, the video plays for a min or two then freezes for a few seconds then plays really fast for a few seconds as if it were trying to catchup. It does this every few minutes making the...

Permissions
I was able to get access to remote shares by running the Twonky service with a user account rather than the system acount. If you have the same account on all the machines (with the same password), you should be able to touch them. Then simply add UNC Paths... \\pc1\music. \\pc2\videos. etc... I run...

Are you serious?
E-Mail their tech support. They will re-send you your key.
(got mine in a few days when I submitted the request)
No one will simply give you their key.
The software runs for 30 days without it.

Make sure you didn't Activate HD Menu mode. The text gets really small. Unless you have a hugh screen you can't read it. I opted to go wired network... Only because it was easy to connect to my switch. I must say for the 130 bucks I paid for the LinkTheater. It does the job. Believe it or not.. I in...

Test Confirmed... The LinkTheater can see and Play VOB files that Twonky serves. Pretty cool. I ripped a DVD using DVDFabDecrypter to my hard disk. I added the directory to Twonky and then re-scanned. A few seconds later... The DVD folder appeared. Just click Play! IP address? Where are you? in the ...

Thanks
I'm new to Twonky. But I must say... I really like it. (I can't comment or compare earlier versions) Being an engineer myself (and no stranger to forums), it no surprise that most of the posts usually have oodles of negatives and almost zero positives about the product. So I'd like to take a moment ...
