Hi all.
the issue is solved.
Once the old Server was completey offline the new server allowed me to activate Twonky with the key.
Not sure what went wrong - maybe some mapping in the network which needed a bit more time...
Thanks

Licence key already in use??? - solved
Hi All. I would need some advice. I was migrating my Windows Home Server from WHSv1 to WHS 2011 and installed the latest version of TwonkyServer. I was trying to activate it with my key for Version 6 which was previously running on the WHSv1 which is no longer there. I am getting an message that the...

Not sure what you mean by this statement...DaemonBeetle wrote: Can I second that - it would mean that once I've set up the folder for XBMC I don't have to do anything for Twonky.

Re: New Feature Requests
Hi All, 1. Version 6.0 beta 3 supports AlbumArt for Movie files - which is a big step forward. The jpg has to be named the same way as the movie file. Additionally it would be great if you can apply a folder.jpg to be shown instead of the folder icon. I.e. when browsing by folder a folder jpg today ...

Re: Maxtor MSS II installation
hi crisme. To be able to install Twonky Media Server on a MSS II you have to ensure that you are running a telnet enabled firmware on your MSS II. There is an alternative firmware available for Central Axis on the MSS II which I am using with Twonky as well. For details and download links you can vi...

Wen...

Re: Online Media on TMS 5.1.2 at WHS
Hi Bernhard, I am running the same configuration but haven't tried so far to use online media. However - you may need to allow the dedicated web address to go online. Whenever I try to open a website from the server I'm getting a waring message and I have to confirm that the outside communication is...

Re: TMS 5.1.1. WHS & 5.1.3 Windows Version
Hi, after doing another reinstall - this time with TMS 5.1.2 for WHS the database was created correctly. However Pictures and Music were scanned relative fast while the Videos took a long time. Even during the scan it didn't showed the number of files detected. The problem seems to be with the stand...

TMS 5.1.1. WHS & 5.1.3 Windows Version
Hi All. I got problems with the Media DB to be created on both versions named above. Here is what I did. I have a WHS and had the plugin for the TMS 5.1.1 installed. It worked without a problem. I started to work with custome views and was able to create the views I wanted to have. After a few days ...

Re: How to Create Your Own Custom Navigation Trees
After I was creating a customer navigation tree - which worked perfectly - I experienced problems when new media files have been added to the DB. The files have been copied to a folder on the harddisk but have been show in a different folder in the view of the Twonky DB. Once trying to access them i...

Re: How to Create Your Own Custom Navigation Trees
Hi Brian, thanks a lot. That's great help. Both suggestions work great. I resently moved from a MaxtorSharedStorage II with Twonky 4.4.18 to an Acer H340 WHS with Twonky 5.1.1 and with the manual configuration of the navigation tree I was able to have the same customized view as I had before. My wif...

Re: TwonkyMediaServer 5.1.2 - WHS - Virus????
Thanks for the feedback. However I am not talking about the installed Twonky Server. When downloading the .msi of the 5.1.2 WHS Version from your web page the Norton Alarm came up. This is not the case when downloading the 5.1.1 .msi WHS Version. Seems that Norton doesn not like the msi file itself....

TwonkyMediaServer 5.1.2 - WHS - Norton - Virus????
Hi All,
today I downloaded the WHS AddOn for Twonky Server 5.1.2. My Norton Anti Virus blocked it by saying it seems to be a Trojan Horse. Can you please verify? Any comment?
The download for 5.1.1 seems to be clean and is not blocked by Norton AV.
Thanks

Very strange. I found out that only one folder was not scaned properly. The scan missed most of the subfolders. After adding the subfolders to the scan list Twonky found more but still not all tracks. Several Server restarts and deleting and reenter onf the scan list and scanning the 'problem folder...

Twonky 4.4 does not find all Music tracks
Hi, I am running 2 Twonky Servers. One on a NAS (Maxtor Shared Storrage 2) and one on a Media PC. All Files are hosted on the NAS. The configuration is the same in both Twonky configurations for the Music setup. The Twonky Server running on the PC found all tracks (17735) but the Twonky on The NAS f...

define starting folder??
Hi, I am running TwonkyMedia 4.4 on a Media Server. My Folder structure is quite large and it looks like that TwonkyMedia is supporting 9 or 10 levels only. Means I can browse via the folder structure to the last level but cannot see the files in it. Is there a possibility to define the starting fol...
