Hi Iana, True, i agree, a choice is always the best! The good news is, you can choose! On my QNAP i can activate or deactive the "Nosearch" option in the TwonkyVision server via a weblink. After i change the setting, the menu on the Roku automaticcly changes to your preferred view or with the search...

Personally, i am very happy with the roku menu, because then you have the search function! In the Twonky meny, you are only able to browse and use playlists and look into the folders. But no search function. So i prefer the roku menu with search. On a QNAP TS-101 which i use, there is a setting to a...

I use the QNAP TS-101 also, and am very very happy with it. I searched and explored for a long time to find the right NAS for me, but almost every other NAS needs some degree of "hacking" and installing other firmware to make Twonky work. With the QNAP it comes embedded and works out of the box perf...

See my other post about order of playlists and navigation. I experience the same problem using a QNAP TS-101 NAS with Twonky 4.3 and a Pinnacle Soundbridge M1001. Browsing folders gives a strange order in tracks, aswel playlist behaviour. The behaviour seems consistent, but i cannot find out the rea...

Hi randyth, Thanks for your hints. Good to see it's not something i missed somewhere. I did not install the latetst update yet, with the TwonkyVision 4.4 package. Would that give me any benefits yet, or would you say i can also wait until the next release of the QNAP software? Besides the playlist t...

Please see my post: http://www.twonkyforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=3837
Maybe you have any idea?
Thanks,
Andries

TwonkyVision: Search and order of files/playlists
Hi all, I decided to go for the QNAP T101 as NAS and i must say, i am very pleased with the device! I got a 500GB HD in it. I use it with a Pinnacle Soundbridge M1001. (thinking about buying an extra HomeMusic for my working room) Some major plus-points: - It works out of the box! On the QNAP is Two...
