Re: Cache memory size four times higher in 6.0.23?

Stabilized at 52948 KB, running for nearly 4 days now. I did see it go over 53000 a couple of times, then it shrinks back to 52948 KB. I did add a few files (well, just 13 songs - not much considering I have over 31,000) last night and it didn't go nuts or anything. Will keep monitoring. Still much ...

Re: Cache memory size four times higher in 6.0.23?

Since I posted it has only gone up to 53000 KB (53Mb). I may have added a few files - not sure. Server's been up for nearly 3 days. I'm running the Windows version on a Windows Home Server box (Acer H340.)

Cache memory size four times higher in 6.0.23?

Hi, I upgraded from 6.0.1 to 6.0.23 over the weekend. In 6.0.1 the cache memory size was just over 13000 Kb. With 6.0.23, this has grown to 52881 KB, which is roughly four times the previous size. I was wondering if this is normal? I did try rebuilding the database, just in case. I don't have any pr...

Re: TMS 6.0.1 - bugs and comments

I was hoping this problem would go away, but it's still there: I'm sometimes missing data in some music categories. For example, I was under Artist Index and couldn't find the band "Razor Fist", but "Razor" was there twice (and both listed the same albums.) Under "Artist" alone, "Razor" was there on...

Re: TMS 6.0.1 - bugs and comments

I just installed it a few minutes ago. Rebuilt the database relatively fast (30780 songs, 384 videos.) I noticed something weird on the status page: Version: 6.0.1 Cache memory: 18014398507832818 KB That cache memory display is wrong. It was fine in 6.0. I'll be playing with it over the next few day...

Odd problem with list of artists (Genre/Artist)

Alright, I've been fighting with this for a few days and it's driving me nuts. Setup: - TwonkyServer 6.0 running on Acer H340 (Windows Home Server) - D-Link DSM-520 for playback When I go to "Genre/Artist", I select a genre that has something like 84 artists listed. If I scroll down the list, everyt...

Re: TwonkyMedia last.fm Scrobbler

100 is definitely useless. I've just changed it to 20 - thanks for the info. Funnily, things have started to work. I did a full uninstall/reinstall, then edited the ini file. Then the Last Played feed wasn't getting updated, but the Most Played one was, so I entered that in the scrobbler for the tim...

Re: TwonkyMedia last.fm Scrobbler

Thanks for the tips! I did the directory cleanup, deleting everything but the ini file, but no joy. The Last Played feed still shows 100 entries which, from the looks of it, are the first 100 songs in the database (going alphabetically, by artist anyway... Just a guess.) It just doesn't seem to get ...

OK, so it's probably not something I did then... :( Gotta wonder why something so simple doesn't work.

Re: TwonkyMedia last.fm Scrobbler

Nice work. This worked for me for a while this morning. Then it stopped (for some reason I didn't write down the error message - something about the server doing something illegal or whatever.) This was right after I stopped a song after a few seconds, then started playing another. After trying a fe...

Re: New EU/UK firmware 1.06 for DSM520

Found it. It seems like, even though the display is 300x300, the player can't handle that size for an image. It seems like anything more than 200 pixels wide won't display (I tried 200x200 and 200x214 and it worked, but 210x210 doesn't, for example.) So I wasted a lot of time adding 300x300 art on s...

Re: New EU/UK firmware 1.06 for DSM520

I have the North American 1.06 firmware. I'm just wondering if anyone has the album art feature working? The release notes say they fixed this, but I tried a few songs I know have the art embedded, and it doesn't display.

There is a DLink guy hanging out on the AVS forum DSM-520 thread. He says the size will be expanded in the next firmware upgrade. Excellent, thanks for the info. I provided them with a lot of details regarding both the size AND the "stuck art" and they told me they were working on reproducing the p...

That's where my art is. It just doesn't show with 1.05. It did with 1.03 and 1.04.

It took a few days before I heard from them when I reported the stuck art problem. But then again, I'd settle for no reply, but a fixed firmware. :)

Nope. I was hoping that the "stuck art" problem from 1.03/1.04 would have been fixed with this, but I guess the joke is on us. I just reported the problem to DLink, I suggest you do the same (and DO mention the stuck art problem in 1.04, to make sure they don't just re-enable the broken feature.)

Still in trial mode after purchase

Hi, I used TwonkyMedia 4.4.1 in trial mode for a few hours and then decided to buy it. I couldn't enter the purchased license key (the info page was showing the trial key and not allowing to change it), so I uninstalled the server (full uninstall, including deleting the config/data directory.) After...
