Re: why no .ts file extentions?

The PS3 does show .ts files, twonky used show work with them but broke, like a few things, a couple of updates back.
Use another streamer and ts files show up fine so its a twonky fault.

I mentioned this 2 or versions back, with no fix.
You could try renaming the files mpg and see if they play.

Thanks for your short and definete :D answer. Just to be sure: The AC3 (Dolby Digital) audio track is also forwarded via optical digital out to the Dolby Digial receiver. The reason I insist on this topic is that I read somewhere that the PS3 plays AC3 but only sends Stereo to the Dolby Digital rec...

I'm trying out another streamer, and there are some port conflicts, and I can't seem to turn twonky off to try it out with the new software.

Thanks in advance.

.m2ts files not recognised

The latest beta 4.4.4_RC1 now works properly again streaming to PS3, except for not playing .ts files and .m2ts files which used play with 4.4.2.

Jumped the gun a little with this post, its just .ts files showing up as unsupported data. M2ts files are playing fine.

Sorry.

Playlists don't show up, some movies don't play. But they do play on the PS3 .... Seems very very buggy I can't even get it to stay running,...

Just tried the new 4.4.3 version and still no divx playback on my PS3, plus now .ts files don't work either.

Last night I installed mediatomb on my macbook and that is working with every file that is playable on the PS3, and its free.

Error in 4.4.2 ?

Hi there, I just downloaded Twonky to try it with my Mac and PS3. The version downloaded was 4.4.2. The problem I was having was once everything was set up and I scanned my drives for Media it would see the files at first then it would say there where no files at all. The problem I think is that the...
