always try Http://hostIP:9000 all by itself first (omit/configpage,etc). For some strange reason, Twonky releases can treat this differently.

Did you delete twonky.db and restart the LS? Have you tried reinstalling Twonky? Are you trying the latest beta? On the config page 'info', does it show filescanner picked up any files?

It's not 'nonesense' as it wouldn't work for most of us if so. Why run WFW if you are also running FritzProtect? Double-firewalling is likely the problem.

No idea...it sounds like the db was corrupt, and the additional data was either the db retrying to scan/rebuild the same data repeatedly. Glad it's sorted! :)

Baffled..a rescan should pick it up. Try deleting twonkyvision.db, and allow a total rebuild, would be my next step. :|

It's supposed to be http://NAS IP:9000

As far as the NAS IP, you'll need to consult your router table, or if UPnP is enabled on your puter, twonky and the NAS *should* be visible in Networking. Set a static IP asap. ;)

Oh, btw, Christian...I don't use Twonky with anything other than mp3's...if it's hanging on a pic during scan, it would have to be album art, but 4.4.2 doesn't have the problem. I doubt the EXIF stuff would relate to the tiny jpeg embedded in tags, would it?

File Scanner appears broken again...only 13,291 tracks when I have over 33,000. Installed twice now, multiple rescans, same results. Reverting now. :|

Enable logging in the webpage, examine logs after it pegs. I suspect it's hanging during a rescan, on a bad file perhaps?
