Re: Twonky Support - Do they watch these forums?
This forum/fora are peer-to-peer only. Trial software is almost always unsupported, and Twonky is not unusual in this regard. The purpose of trial/evaluation is to determine if it can work with your hardware, and can perform to your specific needs. You may have hardware/needs that Twonky cannot over...

I have created separate fora for both XBOX and PS3, so please direct queries to these new fora, rather than Other Devices forum. Additionally, I have moved the two Telegent topics into Other Devices, and have deleted the Telegent forum. Telegent users can post their queries in Other Devices forum. T...

OK I've got some more info. I turned on all logging. I don't see anything that indicates a problem other than it takes a very long time to scan the contents in the directory. I let Twonky run uniteruppted and it took almost 4 days to add the 6,000 songs in my content directory. I also tried the new...

Use the UPnP tester on each machine to see if UPnP is working properly on that machine.

always try Http://hostIP:9000 all by itself first (omit/configpage,etc). For some strange reason, Twonky releases can treat this differently.

Not sure why this forum is so crap - but it is. After all, listening to music, from a media server - without having your PC on must be a priority for any music lover. Wireless is the future - but you wouldnt guess.    No documentation. If you;re a techy, wondering why something...

While I can certainly empathise with your overwhelming requests on NAS installed versions, it IS still true that members have paid for your product under the agreement that they would receive support, in addition to the software, when they purchased. I also assume many of the requests on NAS-install...

It seems to me the volume of PS3 and XBox users is gaining steam wrt posts, so I'm wondering what users think about the following:
1) Separate PS3/XBox forum
2) Separate PS3 forum, and separate XBox forum
3) Things are fine right now

If true, this is the end of the road for me wrt Twonky. I will never run a machine just to serve music/vids, as the NAS setups are the only way to do it as far as I'm concerned. My hope is that Christian et al. continue to produce the installers, with the general knowledge there is no support for th...

my post got screwed:
It's supposed to be http://NAS IP:9000
As far as the NAS IP, you'll need to consult your router table, or if UPnP is enabled on your puter, twonky and the NAS *should* be visible in Networking. Set a static IP asap.
